You have two options when "transferring" your existing domain name to

1. Web hosting with with your domain registered at another domain registrar.

After you sign up with, you can transfer your domain to us.
In order to initiate a transfer of your domain name from another registrar to, you must do the following: Obtain an authorization code from your current registrar (not required for .ca domains)
a. Unlock the domain at your current registrar (not required for .ca domains)
b. Simply use the transfer option when placing your order through the online order form.
Note: the administration contact for .ca domains must confirm the transfer by replying to the transfer authorization email. This email will come from ICANN on 4goodhosting.coms behalf.

In addition, if you are transferring a domain name to that is not your primary domain name (i.e. an add-on domain), we must add an additional year of registration onto that domain name. There is a small fee to add an additional 1 year of domain registration or renewal to any domains which are transferred to us.
