  • 0

Some sites may try to open pop-ups, which are new browser windows that may be hidden under the current window or displayed on the top.

Generally, pop-ups are used for advertising, but some sites may use them to show information without disrupting the currently open page.

Whenever Chrome blocks a pop-up window, an icon like this one will appear.

1) Click it to view information about the pop-ups being blocked.

2) Choose this option to allow pop-ups from this domain.

Let's see some options for managing pop-ups.

3) Open the menu.

4) Click Options.

5) Go to Under the Hood.

6) Click Content Settings.

Use these options to turn the pop-up blocker on or off.

7) Click Manage Exceptions.

8) Type the URL for which you want to allow or block pop-ups.

9) Now choose the Action.

That's it! Now you know how to manage your pop-up blocker in Google Chrome
