Softaculous is the one-click installer in cPanel (hundreds of scripts — WordPress, Joomla, and more). It is included on our Linux cloud plans (Softaculous hosting overview).
Install an app
- cPanel → Softaculous Apps Installer.
- Pick an application → Install.
- Choose domain and directory (
/for the main site, or a subfolder). - Set admin username/password (not
admin). - Install → bookmark the admin URL Softaculous shows.
Manage later
Softaculous can back up, restore, and upgrade installs it manages. For WordPress, prefer WordPress Toolkit when available.
