Whitelist your IP Print

  • 0

Our Linux hosting servers run a strict firewall that automatically blocks IP addresses after repeated failed logins (cPanel, FTP, email, or webmail). If you suddenly cannot reach your website, cPanel, or email, your current IP address may be blocked. You can whitelist (unban) it yourself from your billing portal.

Unblock / whitelist your IP

  1. Log in to the billing portal at https://4goodhosting.com/billing2/clientarea.php using your account email address.
  2. Click Services > My Services in the left menu.
  3. Click the status icon to the right of the Next Due Date for your Standard Linux Web Hosting plan.
  4. Under Actions on the left, click IP Unban Center.
  5. Click the lock icon on the far right next to the registration date, enter the IP address you want to unblock, and click Unban.

You can find your current IP address at whatismyip.com. You should be able to reconnect within about 10 minutes.

Important: after unbanning, make sure no device or mail client keeps trying to connect with an old password. Repeated failed attempts (FTP, cPanel, or email) will re-block your IP. This tool is available to Standard Linux Web Hosting customers.
