Power Outage - Etobicoke Area

Currently, there is a power outage in Etobicoke. The Data Center is functioning as normal on the DC generator. Building access has been restricted during this time.

Toronto Hydro estimates the power will be restored by midnight. A technician is onsite monitoring the situation. The DC fuel take is currently 90% full, and the DC will arrange for a fuel top up if the power is not restored by 10pm.

Please be advised that we will be performing a scheduled network maintenance at our Vancouver, Harbour Center facility during the following window:


Monday, August 12, 2013 from 00:01 PT to 04:00 PT (Aug. 12, 07:01-11:00 GMT).


During this window, we will be replacing the active routing engine on our distribution router. This routing engine was diagnosed to be faulty and needs to be replaced to avoid future incidents.


This maintenance will be SERVICE IMPACTING. You may experience packet loss and latency for up to 10 minutes during the 4 hour window while traffic fails over to the backup routing engine, and the faulty module is being replaced.

Spam Assassin Getting the Most

With spam becoming more and more of a problem these days, has got a program built into our control panel to help you fight it. We recommend the follow settings auto delete on and set to #6 that is what we use for most our business clients, you can go more aggressive but we suggest you don't auto delete the email till you test for a week. What ever then comes through with [spam] in the subject line is what will be deleted once this is turned back on again.
